Feta Cheese and Olives: A Few Ways To Utilize This Classic Combination

We are living in the age of healthy eating, where salads, fat-free sandwiches and other healthy dishes are consumed ferociously to ensure that one is in premium healthy condition. Two of the most widely consumed healthy foods are feta cheese and olives: two food products that make for such a classic combination, combining delectably well with tomatoes in salads, pastas, and loads of other dishes. Here are some interesting ways to combine Olives and feta cheese:

1. The most classic way to combine olives and feta cheese is using it in a Greek Tomato Salad. All you need is tomatoes, Kalamata Olives, Olive Oil, Sheep or Goat’s Milk Feta Cheese, Fresh Oregano, salt and pepper (to taste), and optional additions like Cucumber, Red Onions and Bell Peppers.

2. Another healthy dish with incorporates the olive-feta-tomato love story is the Greek Style Baked Fish. You just need a meaty white fish fillet like a Sea Bass, Tomatoes, Black Olives, Feta Cheese, Capers, Lemon, Salt and Pepper, and you’re set. You can add bags of flavour to this already appetising dish by simply adding a dolop of Olive Paste.

3. Combine Olives, Feta and Tomatoes with any kind of pasta (preferably Spaghetti), and toss the pasta in some olive spread to add another layer of flavour and elevate the dish to the next level.

4. A classic Italian appetizer Olive Crostini, in which you can spread some Olive Paste on the crostini, and put olives and feta cheese on top of it to make a sumptuous entree. Many, many more ways. With such a classic combination, the recipes are endless.
